“Romy the Cat”

Noi, in the picture book The Storm Whale by Benji Davies, has a lovely supporting cast, including six cats. Here’s my take on the ginger one.

Romy was different to her five sisters,

Who snoozed their days away.

She was up and out and always about,

Adventuring her days away.

Until tea time, that is, when Romy

Ate her favourite jam on bread.

Then she’d curl up, forget adventuring,

And cat nap instead.
